They do not replace the informed consent, telehealth consent, financial agreement, Notice of Privacy Practices, or other documents that apply after a patient relationship is established.

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the website and public-facing online features operated by Tranquility Wellness, PLLC (“Tranquility Wellness,” “Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including general website content, contact or appointment-request pathways, and links to scheduling or patient resources (collectively, the “Website”).

By using the Website, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms. If a particular online process asks you to affirmatively accept separate terms or consents, those additional terms also apply to that process.

2. Adults Only

Tranquility Wellness provides clinical services to adults age 18 and older. The Website is not intended to enroll children or adolescents in clinical services. If you are under 18, do not use the Website to request psychiatric care.

3. Website Use Does Not Establish a Patient Relationship

Browsing the Website, reading educational content, submitting a general inquiry, requesting an introductory call, or requesting an appointment does not by itself establish a nurse practitioner-patient or other clinician-patient relationship.

A clinical relationship is established only after Tranquility Wellness has accepted you for care and the required clinical, privacy, financial, and consent processes have been completed. Submission of an inquiry or appointment request does not guarantee acceptance as a patient, a particular appointment, diagnosis, prescription, medication, test, referral, or treatment outcome.

4. Informational Content; No Medical Advice

Information on the Website is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not individualized medical or psychiatric advice and should not be used as a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified health professional.

5. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

The Website, website forms, email, scheduling requests, and other general administrative channels are not emergency or crisis services and are not continuously monitored.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use the Website, email, appointment-request forms, or routine portal messages for emergency assistance.

6. Appointment Requests, Telehealth, and Location

Tranquility Wellness provides psychiatric services only where its treating clinician is legally authorized to practice. Website availability does not mean that clinical services are available in every state or jurisdiction from which the Website can be accessed.

For telehealth care, you may be asked to confirm your identity and your physical location at the time of the visit. Telehealth care is subject to applicable professional standards, privacy and security requirements, prescribing laws, and any other requirements that apply where the patient is physically located.

Tranquility Wellness currently serves adults located in Virginia and Washington, DC, subject to clinician licensure, scope of practice, clinical appropriateness, and applicable law.

7. Prescriptions and Controlled Substances

No prescription is promised or issued through general Website use. Medication decisions are made only within an established clinical relationship after an appropriate evaluation and are subject to federal and applicable state or District laws, professional standards, and Practice policies. A request for a particular medication does not guarantee that it will be prescribed.

This section does not apply to professional clinical services, malpractice claims, privacy or confidentiality duties, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any responsibility that applicable law does not permit to be limited or excluded.
